A Pasadena-based company, Better For All, has created a new line of biodegradable cups made from plant-based biopolymers, which are reusable, renewable, and home compostable.

The cups, made with PHBH, a biopolymer that belongs to the PHA family of bioplastics, are free from harmful chemicals and can decompose in various conditions, including airless landfills.

The company is currently working on developing cups suitable for stadiums and other venues, as well as a printing process that is compatible with composting.
