Pasadena nonprofit Young & Healthy is offering free tax return preparation assistance to residents of the city.

The service is part of a program called “Tax Support+” in collaboration with the California State University’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

The organization has been providing this free service for the past three years as part of their community service efforts.

The aim is to ensure that families maximize their tax filing benefits, particularly the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), which many families do not fully utilize.

For more information, visit Young & Healthy’s website.
