Pasadena Water and Power Director Leaves for Minnesota Utility; City Begins Search for Successor

Utility

Sidney Jackson, the General Manager of Pasadena Water and Power, has announced his resignation to assume the role of CEO at Connexus Energy, a Minnesota-based utility. Jackson, who has been at the helm of Pasadena's utility for just 15 months, will begin his new position on March 11.

The City Manager's office has been notified of Jackson's departure and is currently in the process of searching for a replacement. During his tenure at Pasadena Water and Power, Jackson came from Austin Energy and previously served as the chief operations officer at Rochester Public Utility, where he led operations for both the electric and water utilities.

Connexus Energy's Board selected Jackson following a national search. In a statement, Jackson expressed his excitement to join the utility and lead its executive team and employees in service to its members and the vibrant North metro communities.
