City of Pasadena Partners with Central Square Corporation to Streamline False Alarm Billing

The City of Pasadena has announced a new partnership with Central Square Corporation to manage its alarm permitting and billing.

The collaboration aims to streamline the process of alarm permitting, billing, and appeals through the use of Central Square Corporation’s proprietary software, CryWolf.

This initiative is expected to reduce the number of false alarm incidents, ensuring more efficient use of public safety resources in the community. In recent years, the Pasadena Police Department has responded to thousands of incidents related to false alarms, prompting the city to take action.

The new system will require residents and businesses with alarm systems to purchase permits from the city, with fees adjusted annually.

Central Square Corporation will begin working with the City of Pasadena on January 23, 2024, offering online registration services and customer support for alarm companies.
