Pasadena Metro Station Jumper Seriously Injured in Apparent Suicide Attempt
On Saturday afternoon, a man in his twenties was seriously injured after jumping in front of a train at the Sierra Madre Villa Metro Station in Pasadena, in what police are treating as a suicide attempt.
The man, whose identity and motivation remain unknown, was immediately transported to a local hospital but his current condition is not known. The LA County Sheriff’s Department Transit section is handling the case.

Pasadena High School Bulldogs Dominate Cross-Town Rivals in Soccer Matches

The Varsity Boys Soccer team won 2 - 0, with Junior Martinez Cortes and Peter Min scoring the goals.
The Varsity Girls Soccer team also dominated, winning 3 -- 0. The final whistle was met with cheers from the crowd, celebrating the Bulldogs' triumph.
Pasadena High School Ties Arcadia in Pacific League Standings After Rivalry Win
In a remarkable display of athleticism, the Pasadena Bulldogs secured a 64-43 victory over their rivals from Muir, while the girls basketball team also emerged victorious with a 51-44 win against John Muir High School.
These triumphs have tied Pasadena High School and Arcadia in the Pacific League standings (in the loss column).
Jovan Jester led the Bulldogs with 19 points, while Desmond Every added 14 points to the winning effort.
For Muir, Bradley Jones was the top scorer with 17 points, and Brandon Hardy added 10 points to the Mustangs' total. In the girls' match, the Bulldogs showcased their resilience and determination, ultimately clinching a hard-fought 51-44 victory.
The Bulldogs will face Hoover at home on Tuesday at 5:15 PM, aiming to extend their winning streak and maintain their position atop the Pacific League standings.
