Balloons and Blue Sky

Pasadena prepares to celebrate Kwanzaa, a holiday established in 1966 to honor African American and Pan-African culture.

The holiday, which traditionally takes place from Christmas to New Year's, promotes values such as unity, self-determination, purpose, faith, and creativity.
