CU Buffs Coach Calls for Understanding for Alleged Rose Bowl Thieves

Deion Sanders, the coach of the CU Buffs, showed empathy towards four students accused of stealing personal items from the CU Buffs' locker room during a Rose Bowl game.

The suspects, who are reportedly prospective UCLA recruits from Beaumont High School, Riverside County, are still under investigation by Pasadena police.

Despite the ongoing situation, Sanders has called for forgiveness, emphasizing that these young individuals should be given a chance to learn from their mistakes and change their lives.

He also dismissed questions about his interest in other high-profile football positions that have recently become available, asserting his focus remains on the performance of the Buffs.

The Pasadena Police Department (PPD) recognized the exceptional investigative work of Investigator Trey Sorensen and PPD Detective Alex Torres with a Divisional Commendation.

The duo successfully solved a complex burn homicide case that took place in the Arroyo Seco area.

They identified the victim, an immigrant from El Salvador, who was found severely burned near the La Loma Bridge on the Arroyo Seco Trail.

After a comprehensive investigation, they identified two brothers from Los Angeles as primary suspects and initiated a wiretap investigation.

Their persistence led to the identification of the individual responsible for the homicide and an unrelated hit-and-run murder.

The suspect was subsequently charged with two counts of murder, torture, arson, and hit-and-run.
