Pasadena Police Identify High School Recruits as Suspects in Rose Bowl Theft
The Pasadena police have identified high school athletes visiting UCLA for recruitment as the main suspects in the Rose Bowl thefts.
The incident took place during the UCLA-Colorado game on October 28th, where these recruits allegedly stole several thousand dollars worth of valuables from both teams' locker rooms.
The initial news was highlighted by the Coach JB Show and later confirmed by Pasadena detectives. The reason behind the recruits being unsupervised during the visit remains unknown.
The identities of the suspects are withheld due to their minor status. Both UCLA and the Rose Bowl committee have declined to comment.
The Colorado team was significantly affected, with six players reporting stolen jewelry and others missing headphones and cash.
City of Pasadena Commemorates Veterans Day with Stirring Ceremony
The City of Pasadena honored its military veterans in a moving Veterans Day ceremony. Navy Captain Jessica O'Brien, the commanding officer at Seal Beach, underscored the sacrifices made by military personnel and their families in her speech.
The event was presided over by former Pasadena Mayor and military veteran William Paparian, with current Mayor Victor Gordo formally declaring Veteran's Day in the city.
The ceremony included patriotic music, a flyover by the Condor Squadron, and recognition of Pasadena City employees who had served in the military.
O'Brien concluded her address by encouraging year-round support for veterans, volunteering for veterans, promoting military service among the youth, and urging veterans to share their stories.

The entry fees for the event are entirely tax-deductible, with all proceeds going to the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization.
Race day will commence with bib pickup from 7:30 a.m., although early pickup is encouraged.

Diwali in Pasadena: A Radiant Blend of Tradition, Unity, and Light
The Pasadena Hindu Temple is currently the hub of Diwali celebrations in the city, a festival embodying prosperity and light.
The meticulously planned celebrations include traditional purchases, lighting of lamps, and a series of prayers and rituals.
The temple is making significant efforts to involve the younger generation and invite individuals from all walks of life to partake in the festivities. The use of firecrackers is being limited to keep the focus on unity and togetherness.
The festival will conclude with the traditional Govardhan Puja, marking the Gujarati New Year.
