An automated gunfire alert from ShotSpotter led Pasadena police to arrest a Montclair man, Thomas Johnson, on multiple weapon and narcotics violations late last night.

Johnson attempted to flee when officers approached, leading to a brief chase. He was found carrying two handguns and suspected narcotics.

A subsequent investigation led to the discovery of shell casings near his vehicle.

Despite a thorough search, no victims or witnesses were identified, and local hospitals reported no victims.

One officer sustained minor injuries but did not require extensive medical treatment.

The B-2 Stealth Bomber, a long-standing tradition of the New Year's Day Rose Parade in Pasadena, is confirmed to return to the skies on January 1, 2024.

The iconic aircraft had been grounded for the 2023 parade due to safety concerns.

The Tournament of Roses organizers have announced that the B-2 will resume its traditional flyover at around 8 a.m., adding a moment of grandeur to the parade's 2024 theme, "Celebrating a World of Music: The Universal Language."

The lively event was attended by actor and producer Yara Shahidi, who inspired the students with her insights and shared her brother's successful college journey, which began at PCC.
